Previewish – UFC 99: The Comeback – Terry Etim vs. Justin Buchholz

June 10, 2009

When there are UFC events, I’m going to do short previews for every single fight on the card individually. It’ll be a great chance to try and get to know the lesser known guys that fill out the spaces in the PPV shows that are created after quick stoppages. Sometimes, they make the PPV worth the buy.

Terry Etim (12-2) vs. Justin Buchholz (7-2)

Lightweights

JustinBuchholzTerry Etim is yet another Brit on the card who is generally used on overseas cards. Etim has won two straight and is a promising young British fighter. He was supposed to fight Justin Buchholz at UFC 95, but instead knocked out former Pride lightweight champion Brian Cobb. As you can see in this picture, Etim is your basic, run of the mill, crazy Brit.

Buchholz, like Dale Hartt, has beaten Corey Hill. Buchholz doesn’t have a sweet .gif for his MySpace page though. The Alaskan does however, roll with Urijah Faber. At least that’s what I glean from this video of The California Kid and his training buddies. He also used to have orange hair.
